Classes for homeschoolers are a way to bring our children together for extra learning opportunities. Please share with me reviews of classes you’ve taken and what you would recommend.

*Updated April 2015*

Please help me keep this list updated. If you would like to share information about a class, email me at Please indicate:

  1. Title of Class/Type of Class
  2. Type of enrollment: Open for anyone, Capped enrollment of X number students, By invitation only (please include contact information)
  3. Date of class and duration
  4. Cost

There is power in numbers. If there is a class that doesn’t fit your schedule or budget but you would like your child to participate in the class, please post a comment and I’ll share a post about it, blasting it to all the other homeschoolers who follow this page. If others are interested then you can approach the teacher/mentor/coach with a proposal for a time and/or discount (since you’re drumming up business for them).

As I update this page, you can refer to this incredible source:

Classes in the Prescott Area*

*Disclaimer: I haven’t double-checked the classes to see if they are adapted for youth and kids. Unless indicated, make sure to find out if the class will work for your family. And please let me know if I should remove a class offering from the list.

  1. Hey, there. i am a home school mom moving across the country to Prescott. I sent you a gmail at your address. I haven’t heard from you. Hope you can find some time to answer me back.

  2. I’m interested in learning about homeschooling but I don’t know where to start. My daughter just started kindergarten and is having a tough time socially. Any info would be appreciated.

  3. Hello, We are thinking to relocate to Prescott. Do you all get together at all? My daughter is 12yrs old and we are very much for non violence to all beings and are Vegan as well. Wondering the age range of the homeschoolers there? And if you all get together? Many Thanks!

    • A couple of the best ways to connect with other homeschool families is to become a part of the local homeschool groups on Facebook. That’s where most people organize and share things like current classes, field trips, group study hours at the library, etc. Please send me, via email (, your FB info and I can invite you to join a couple of local groups. Also, many homeschool families meet on Thursday afternoons at View Point park from 1-3 or 2-4. Joining a local co-op or signing up for a homeschool class (like gymnastics or an art class) is another way to meet other homeschoolers.
