Thank you for sharing information concerning our upcoming Day in the Life program at the Sharlot Hall Museum. Due to the Prescott Homeschool Hub’s help in spreading awareness about our program, we have been able to fill in our available spaces for next week’s program! At this time therefore, we are unfortunately unable to take any more registrations. I just wanted to take a moment to update your forum about this opportunity in case in the coming days there may be more interest from its members.
Although we are unable to accept any more registrations for July 26th program, we are always interested in more programming opportunities with local educational communities, and welcome any questions community members have about tours, programs, and special events. If yourself or any other members may have questions about these possibilities, I would love to share information and do some brainstorming. I can be reached at (928) 277-2014 (in the last day or so I was provided with a new phone number for my office) or of course by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On July 26th, the museum is a hosting a free Day in the Life program for youth involved in local organizations. We currently have more openings than we anticipated in this program and would like to invite any interested youth ages 6 – 12 to join us at the museum for a free, fun day of games, crafts, and a private hands-on tour of our newest exhibit. In the morning, we will also be featuring Living History demonstrators who will be providing opportunities for youth to engage directly with history. The Living History experiences will provide participants with the opportunity to complete activities with the interpreters, such as using a 19th century printing press and interacting with toys from the late 1800s. This program will also include a pizza lunch provided by the Sharlot Hall Museum! Registration and check-in will begin at 9 am, with the program starting at 9:30. The program will conclude at 4 pm, with pick-up starting then as well.
I would greatly appreciate if this information could be shared within the Prescott Homeschool Hub. If any individuals are interested in this fun and free program, they should not hesitate to reach out to me. I will be happy to provide more information! I may be reached at 928-445-3122, ext. 29 or email@example.com. Our roster is limited, so interested families should register quickly to secure a spot! Registration will be closing Monday, July 24th. Once notified of individuals’ interest, I will send the application with additional information about the schedule and set-up for the day.
